Bharati Shipyard of India Chooses Autoship System Programs
Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) is pleased to announce a sale of their naval architecture software to Bharati Shipyards of Mumbai, India. Bharati Shipyards is engaged in the design and construction of sea-going, coastal, harbour, and inland vessels.

After extensive discussions with ASC and a one-day workshop at their facility in Mumbai, Bharati Shipyards purchased ASC CAD programs including: Autoship for hull design, Autopower for resistance and power
prediction and Autohydro for hydrostatics and stability. Bharati Shipyards has indicated that this purchase is a 1st step, and that in the near future they will consider acquiring ASC’s CAM programs.

Mr. Sarkar Sauvir, Chief Naval Architect, writes, "When we reviewed the marine design software tools on the market we found that the Autoship
System provided us with an integrated approach between hull lines development, right through to hydrostatics and stability and we can decide in the future to add-on production related programs as our technical skill in Autoship and Autohydro increases. We appreciated their
customer focused support during the evaluation process as they even sent a Autoship representative to our offices in India for an
informative one-day session which helped us learn first-hand how the programs will deal with our particular design methods and projects".

This new installation is part of a growing installed base of Autoship System users in India that include: Tebma Shipyards, Chowgule Shipbuilding, Marine Consultants Inc., Aries Institute of Marine Technology and others.
